Yes. Creating a Maki profile and claiming your maki.wf/yourname URL is free. Optional cosmetics (frames, backgrounds, name effects, badges) may be added later but the core profile is always free.

How is Maki different from Linktree or Carrd?

Maki is designed as a profile, not just a list of links. You can ship a live status, a now-playing card, custom cosmetics (avatar frames, backgrounds, name effects) and a soft, character-driven aesthetic. It's a place for you — not just your URLs.

Can I get a custom username?

Yes. You pick the name on signup — letters, numbers, underscore or hyphen, 3 to 20 characters. Some system and brand names are reserved.

Does Maki work in Turkish?

Yes. The site ships with full English and Turkish localisations and remembers your language preference. You can switch via the EN / TR toggle in the top rail.
